Overview
We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and personal information from FreeFastConverter.
We process deletion requests within 30 days
All your personal data will be permanently removed
You'll receive confirmation once deletion is complete
Your right to deletion is absolute
Important: Your Images Are Already Private
Good news! Your images are already 100% private and never stored on our servers.
All image processing happens client-side in your browser. This means:
- Images never leave your device
- We never see, access, or store your images
- No image data exists on our servers to delete
- Your processed images are only stored locally in your browser cache
To clear browser cache:
- Chrome/Edge: Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
- Firefox: Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
- Safari: Press Cmd+Option+E or go to Safari > Clear History
1. What Data We Store
If you have created an account with FreeFastConverter, we may have the following information:
1.1 Account Information
- Email Address: Your login email
- Name: Your full name (if provided)
- Password: Encrypted (hashed) - we cannot see your actual password
- Profile Picture: If you uploaded one
- Account Creation Date: When you signed up
1.2 Usage Data
- Tool Usage Statistics: Which tools you've used (aggregated, anonymous)
- Preferences: Theme settings, language preferences
- API Usage: If you have a premium plan with API access
1.3 Subscription Data (Premium Users)
- Subscription Plan: Free, Pro, or Premium
- Billing Information: Stored securely by our payment processor (Stripe/PayPal)
- Payment History: Transaction records for your account
1.4 Communication Records
- Support Tickets: Any support conversations you've had with us
- Email Communications: Service emails sent to you
Note: We do NOT store:
- Your images or files
- Detailed browsing history
- Personal messages or content
- Credit card details (handled by payment processors)

You have three options for data deletion:
3. How to Request Data Deletion
Method 1: Delete Account from Dashboard (Fastest)
Log in to Your Account
Go to image.freefastconverter.com/login and sign in
Navigate to Account Settings
Click on your profile icon → Settings → Account
Scroll to "Delete Account"
Find the "Delete Account" section at the bottom of the page
Click "Delete My Account"
You'll be asked to confirm your password and reason (optional)
Confirm Deletion
Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to finalize

Subject Line
Use: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Email]"
Include Required Information
Provide:
- Your registered email address
- Account name (if different from email)
- Deletion option (1, 2, or 3 from above)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We'll Verify Your Identity
We may send a verification email to confirm you own the account
Receive Confirmation
You'll get an email confirming your request within 24-48 hours

4. Deletion Timeline
Here's what happens after you submit a deletion request:
Day 0: Request Submitted
You submit your deletion request via dashboard, email, or WhatsApp
Within 24-48 Hours: Acknowledgment
You receive an email acknowledging your request and confirming the deletion type
Day 1-3: Identity Verification
We may send a verification email to confirm you own the account (if needed)
Day 3-7: Processing Period
Your account is marked for deletion. During this time:
- You can still log in
- You can cancel the request if you change your mind
- Premium features remain active until current billing period ends
Day 7-30: Deletion Execution
All your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems:
- Account credentials removed
- Profile information deleted
- Usage history purged
- Database entries removed
- Backups overwritten
Day 30: Confirmation
You receive final confirmation that all data has been permanently deleted
5. What Happens After Deletion
5.1 Immediate Effects
- You will no longer be able to log in to your account
- All premium features and API access will be terminated
- Your email will no longer receive marketing communications
- Any saved preferences will be lost
5.2 What Remains
For legal and security reasons, we may retain minimal information:
- Transaction Records: Required by tax law (anonymized after 7 years)
- Support Tickets: For dispute resolution (anonymized after 3 years)
- Fraud Prevention Data: IP addresses related to fraud investigations
- Legal Compliance: Data required by court order or law enforcement
Note: All retained data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
5.3 Third-Party Services
Data stored by third-party services (like payment processors) must be deleted separately:
- Stripe: Delete Stripe Account
- PayPal: Close PayPal Account
5.4 Re-Registration
After deletion:
- You can create a new account with the same email after 30 days
- No data from your previous account will be restored
- You'll start fresh as a new user
- Previous subscription history won't be available
6. Canceling a Deletion Request
Changed your mind? You can cancel your deletion request:
6.1 During the Cooling-Off Period (Day 1-7)
You can cancel at any time during the first 7 days:
- Via Dashboard: Log in → Settings → Account → "Cancel Deletion"
- Via Email: Reply to the acknowledgment email with "Cancel Deletion"
- Via WhatsApp: Message us to cancel the request
Your account will be restored immediately with all data intact.
6.2 After Day 7
Once deletion begins (after day 7):
- Cancellation may not be possible
- Some data may have already been deleted
- Contact us immediately if you need to stop the process
7. Special Cases
7.1 Active Subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription:
- Cancel your subscription first (Settings → Subscription → Cancel)
- Your account will remain active until the current billing period ends
- Deletion will proceed after the subscription expires
- No refunds for partial months/years
7.2 Pending Disputes
If you have an open dispute or chargeback:
- Data deletion may be delayed until the dispute is resolved
- We may retain transaction data for dispute resolution
- You'll be notified of any delays
7.3 Legal Investigations
If your account is under legal investigation:
- Deletion may be delayed or denied by legal requirement
- You'll be informed if this applies to your case
- Data may be retained for law enforcement
7.4 Minor Accounts
For users under 18:
- Parent/guardian must submit the deletion request
- Proof of guardianship may be required
- We prioritize minors' privacy rights

9. Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to delete my account to protect my images?
No. Your images are already 100% private. All processing happens in your browser, and images never reach our servers. Clearing your browser cache is sufficient to remove any local image data.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Deletion is permanent. All your data will be irreversibly removed. You can create a new account, but previous data cannot be restored.
Will deletion affect my subscription refund?
No refunds. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription. Cancel your subscription first if you want to avoid future charges.
How long does the deletion process take?
Maximum 30 days. Most deletions are completed within 7-14 days, but we have up to 30 days to ensure complete removal from all systems and backups.
Can I delete specific data without closing my account?
Yes. Choose Option 2 (Delete Specific Data) and specify what you want removed. Your account will remain active.
Do you sell my data before deletion?
Never. We don't sell user data, before or after deletion. Your data is only used to provide our services.
What if I don't have access to my email anymore?
Contact us via WhatsApp at +91 93337 57594 with proof of identity. We'll work with you to verify your account ownership.
Can someone else delete my account?
No. Only you (or your legal guardian if you're a minor) can request account deletion. We verify identity before processing any deletion request.
